United Taekwondo Alliance Training Camp March 20–22
A weekend of training focused on fundamentals, patterns, sparring, practical self-defense, and leadership. Sessions are structured to be informative, active, and respectful of different training backgrounds and styles.

FRIDAY – March 20
Training Time: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• CPR Certification
Available to anyone needing new or updated CPR certification. Held at the same location. Not part of official camp training.

• Welcome, Introductions & Camp Overview
Opening remarks, safety notes, and overview of the weekend schedule.
1:20 – 2:30 PM
• Triangle of Technique – Technical Foundations
Instruction on structure, balance, and basic mechanics that support pattern performance throughout the weekend.
2:30 – 3:30 PM
• Pattern Review: Chon-Ji through Gae-Baek
Overview of selected patterns. Key differences are shown and briefly discussed. UTA demonstrates one approach while respecting all styles.
3:30 – 3:45 PM
• Break
Hydration and reset.
3:45 – 4:45 PM
• Variations of Techniques Applied as Self-Defense
Examples of how traditional Taekwondo techniques can be adjusted for basic self-defense situations.
4:45 – 5:00 PM
• Break & Gear Up
Prepare equipment for sparring.
5:00 – 5:30 PM
• Sparring Drills
Controlled drills focusing on movement, timing, and safety. Drills and Skills that increase quality and retention.
5:30 – 6:00 PM
• Point Fighting
Structured point sparring rounds. Fun Tag Team Competition
SATURDAY – March 21

Light movement and breathing to prepare for training.
9:30 – 10:30 AM
• Pattern Review: Eui-Am through Choi-Yong
Review of patterns with attention to flow and intent.
10:30 – 10:45 AM
• Break
Hydration and recovery.
10:45 – 11:45 AM
• Practical Self-Defense – Standing
Simple standing responses focused on awareness and disengagement.
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM
• Lunch
Rest and refuel.
1:00 – 2:15 PM
• Classroom Sparring
Supervised sparring with coaching and feedback.
2:15 – 3:15 PM
• Pattern Review: Ul-Ji through Tong-Il

3:15 – 3:30 PM
• Break
Hydration and reset.

• Practical Self-Defense – Ground Awareness
Basic ground concepts focused on safety and returning to standing.
4:30 – 4:45 PM

Transition and recovery.

• Martial Arts Business & Leadership
Discussion on leadership, professionalism, and school operations.

• Q&A / Wrap-Up
Final questions and closing.
SUNDAY – March 22
Training Time: 9:00 AM – 11:15 AM

• Tai Chi Warm-Up
Light recovery movement.
9:30 – 10:30 AM
• Continuous Point Sparring
Light Continuous rounds focusing on endurance, timing, and composure. Followed by a fun elimination game of tap out.
